The free shuttle to move around Bormio is a brilliant idea!

Bormio is a beautiful village in the mountain. It is located in Valtellina, in the province of Sondrio.

It’s certainly not huge, but with a nice pedestrian center, nice shops, a large sports center and different types of spas.

It is however a lively village, with lots of people in the pubs and restaurants, with events both in summer and winter time and a base for trekking and high altitude excursions.

One service that really impressed me is the free shuttle that the Municipality of Bormio has made available to both tourists and inhabitants.

It’s great for me not to travel by car, and use instead free public transport to move around the village.

That’s right, the shuttle is completely free.

The route it takes changes according to summer or winter season, but in any case covers the entire municipality of Bormio, reaching the QC Bagni Vecchi spa (only during summer).

All routes touch the main points of interest of the village and of course the stops are near the hotels.
